Recap of September Meeting:
Discussed promotion ideas for November 'Great American Smoke-Out' and 'World
Hypnotism Day' in January. Interested in inviting Peter Blum to January meeting.
Reviewed sales ideas for our CD. NGH convention experiences.
"Transformation: A Metaphor", the new CRCNGH CD was completed and offered for sale
at the NGH Convention. The art work looked great and the recording was wonderful. A
fantastic collaborative project that all involved should be very proud of. It will be exciting
to hear feedback from users as the CD is distributed in the months to come. CDs are $15
retail.
Shannon presented a metaphor for our enrichment.

The temp was a crisp 24 degrees. the soup was abundant and hot, and the atmosphere was brimming with
interest for hypnosis and art. The Capital Region Chapter of the National Guild of Hypnotists presented
demonstrations and answered questions and generally talked up hypnosis and its benefits. The Albany
Lark Street BID was very generous in providing us with a multi-room space side by side with an art exhibit
and live music. Albany's First Friday Art crowd drifted in and around our space, inquisitive and excited. Many
had stories to tell and questions to ask. Others just enjoyed our soup (Barbara provided 3 types along with
hot apple cider, yum.) Everything went better than we could have even hoped... people are very interested in
hypnosis. World Hypnotism Day in Albany NY was a wonderful success.
Special thanks to Barbara Stevens whose promotional work got us attention on Capital News 9 TV and in the
Schenectady Gazette. Ann Lanoue's soup idea was a hit on this chilly night. The aroma alone caused ooh's
and aah's throughout the night and the soup tasted mighty fine also. Barbara Davison was the champion of
organization and set up, providing tables, chairs, crockpots, pens, etc, etc, etc and set it all up from early
afternoon until all was cleaned up at night. A great effort by all.
